Epic Games, the renowned video game company responsible for hits like Fortnite and the renowned game engine Unreal Engine, has delivered exciting news for those interested in game development.
Recently, they have announced the launch of an online course titled “Unreal Fellowship: Animation.”
This course, aimed at both experienced professionals and those looking to delve into the world of real-time animation with Unreal Engine, is available for free through the Epic Developer Community until September 28th.
This high-level course spans over 35 hours of webinar content, with modules being progressively released over three weeks.
Its focus is on empowering industry professionals, including animators, special effects supervisors, and technical directors.
However, the highlight is that this is the first time Epic Games is offering the opportunity for animators with little or no prior experience with the Unreal Engine to participate in this learning program.
The topics covered in the course are comprehensive and relevant to the current industry. Participants will learn about lighting and rendering techniques, as well as the use of keyframes in the Unreal Engine Sequencer.
