Anáhuac University launches a Free Course in Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is defined as the science and engineering that seeks to create machines and programs capable of imitating human intelligence.

These systems have the ability to learn from data, reason, solve problems, understand and generate language, recognize images and sounds, and, even more astonishing, correct their own errors and improve over time.

The Universidad Anáhuac offers the community the opportunity to explore AI through a free course that will cover a variety of essential topics.

The course will last for 4 weeks, with a commitment of 5 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to choose your study hours according to your convenience.

The course is scheduled to begin on November 1st and conclude at the end of the year, providing those who have not yet registered with the opportunity to do so and take advantage of this valuable learning opportunity.

In addition to these topics, the course will provide instructions on using the RapidMiner data science platform, a valuable tool for designing and testing AI models.

Roman Alberto Zamarripa Franco, an expert from Universidad Anáhuac, will be the instructor responsible for guiding participants through this exciting journey.

The topics will be divided into modules, each lasting one week, allowing for progressive and in-depth learning. The modules include:

  • Module 1: Artificial Intelligence
  • Module 2: Natural Language Processing
  • Module 3: Classification Trees
  • Module 4: Bayesian Classifier

This course represents an excellent opportunity to grasp the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence and develop practical skills in designing and applying prediction models based on machine learning and natural language processing.
